Perler Bead QR Code Maker
Paste a full https:// link. We build a standard QR code (error correction M) with a 4-bead white border on every side, then show the grid size, how many 29×29 pegboards you need, and how many white and dark beads to use.
Shorter links need fewer beads. Longer links may need four boards instead of one.
How to make a bead QR code pattern
- Enter a short, complete HTTPS link. The destination must remain available.
- Make the pattern and check the digital scan result. Keep M error correction and all four modules of white border.
- Switch between the round-bead mockup and the scannable digital QR view. Download either watermarked preview for free, or use Clear pattern / Reset to example to start again. Neither file is a complete print-ready making chart.
Will a real bead QR code scan?
A digital scan only checks the generated image. Bead holes, gaps, ironing, lighting, contrast and camera distance can prevent a physical project from scanning. Keep the four-module white quiet zone, use contrasting beads, and test the finished piece with several phones before relying on it. Physical bead scanning has not been verified for this tool.
Longer links need more modules and may need more pegboards. The QR size is chosen by the encoder rather than resized to a 29×29 preset. Do not crop the white border or stretch the downloaded image.
What is in the free preview PNG?
The ordinary-resolution PNG is drawn from the same bead data as the screen preview, rather than captured from the page. Each occupied cell represents one bead; transparent cells use none. The bead total plus empty cells equals the grid width multiplied by its height. A visible preview watermark identifies the shared image.
Transparent image regions stay empty. QR previews keep solid modules and their white border; the watermark stays outside them. Free PNGs do not include row and column coordinates, full production grids, board-by-board printing or a complete color-code shopping list.
Screen colors are approximate. The 103-color community catalog is not manufacturer-certified: compare physical beads before buying supplies. High-resolution watermark-free charts, full making grids, A4 board PDFs and complete purchasing lists are reserved for a future paid release. Payments and paid exports remain closed.
